Public Affairs and Advocacy
To be the recognized voice of individuals and families in Ontario by:
- Strengthening the profile of the network through marketing and communications.
- Developing and maintain relationships with key government officials and provincial partners.
- Facilitating the collection of data to strengthen our advocacy initiatives.
Growth and Sustainability
To explore additional opportunities for stewardship, growth and sustainability by:
- Diversifying revenue sources.
- Maintaining strong relationships with members.
- Recruiting new members.
Quality and Capacity
To be a trusted source of information and resources that enhance the quality, competency and capacity of members by:
- Providing resources that support service quality.
- Coordinating learning opportunities, including training, communities of practice, and an annual conference.
- Sourcing resourcing resources such as cost savings opportunities, services and tools that support organizational capacity and quality.
- Facilitating opportunities for members to expand funding through grants, government funding and social enterprise.

On average, 35% of our services are supported by social enterprise dollars and charitable donations.

As a community-based counselling agency and a member of Family Service Ontario, NCCC provided outstanding service to 1,000 individuals and families each year.

Universal access to mental health services is a welcomed theme in this election. Every day we experience firsthand individuals, youth and families who fall through the system’s gaps in care.
New (FREE) 24/7 Mental Health and Wellness Supports Announced
Struggling families across the province now have additional mental health resources to support them in the pandemic. Family Service Ontario (FSO), with funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), launched the COVID19 Support Program this week.

Affordable, community based mental-health care exists in Ontario for everyone. What keeps Ontarians from accessing these resources is lack of awareness of the vital services provided by 45 Family Service Ontario agencies.
